H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon

Mosers’ newest Streamliner takes a minimalist visual approach on the already minimalist take of a perpetual calendar. The result is stunning

Back in 2020 the Streamliner was launched and almost instantly it was clear that this would be a success for Moser. Entering the highly competitive field of the luxury sports watches is a difficult task, but the Streamliners’ visual identity has proven to be original and successful. The cushion-shaped case combined with the aerodynamically shaped bracelet is clearly a different take, distinguishing it from the competitors.

In a few years the Steamliner has turned in a broad collection, involving three-handers, perpetual calendars, flyback chronographs and tourbillons. It is fair to say that the Streamliner has been a game changer for Moser.

This week the brand has added a new version to the palette: The Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon. The “Concept” part relates to the minimalistic dial lay-out, very much in line with Mosers’ DNA. And it makes total sense, as the perpetual calendar complication by Moser is already quite minimalistic itself. But be aware, on the dial more is happening than the casual observer would guess.

Apart from hour/minute/second indication the date window at 4 might be still be obvious, true Moser-like subtlety applies to the months indicator, indicated with a small white and red hand, and the power reserve hand at 10 o’clock. The rest of the functions are shown when the watch is turned and the gorgeous manual winding caliber HMC 812 is visible. The set-up allows full attention to the smoked salmon fumé Concept dial.

The new Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon is available right now, and will not be limited by number but by time: It will be in the catalogue for exactly 1 year. If you’re interested and have a CHF 49,900 for spare you’ll have until February 21, 2025 to get in touch with Moser.

Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 XPS and 8Hz

I must admit that I am an Alpine Eagle fan since its launch. In the highly competitive segment of luxury sports watches it totally makes sense that a brand like Chopard is represented. The brand is almost synonymous with luxury, while the sporty angle is also very much covered with the Mille Miglia line, one […]
