TAG Heuer- the 2024 LVMH Watch Week novelties

Since a few years the January month has been claimed by LVMH to host their annual LVMH Watch Week. The traditional moment for the associated brands present their most important novelties of the year. Today TAG Heuer shares a new collection, and focus is on the Carrera again.

After the anniversary year 2023 it seems like the novelty-stream for this most iconic model is not slowing down at all. Today we present the Carrera Chronograph in green, the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon and the Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde.

Carrera Chronograph

A new version of the Carrera Chronograph Glassbox sees the light and it’s a stunning piece. Following the black- and blue dialed versions presented last year this third iteration has a green dial, giving it a classy and warm look. Inspired by the iconic DATO layout from the 60’s the date window is now positioned at 9, a different set-up compared to the black (which has a date window at 12) and the blue one (at 6). The overall Glassbox design remains and I must admit I’m a big fan. A perfect modern reinterpretation of a classic sports watch. The Carrera Chronograph in green is available immediately at a price of CHF 6,400.

Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon

The teal green dial color has also found its way to the Tourbillon version of the Carrera Chronograph. In recent years TAG Heuer has made the tourbillon complication available at attractive price levels and this new piece is no exception. CHF 23,500 buys you an attractive tourbillon sports watch. The 42mm steel-cased watch comes on a black alligator strap, giving great balance between the Carrera sport-DNA and the feel of a high-end luxury watch. Available in April.

Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde

For the second year in a row TAG Heuer stretches the Carrera model line to another level in luxury watchmaking. This years’ Plasma dial if fitted extensively with 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds, including a 1.4 carat of yellow Diamant d’Avant-Garde diamond fitted prominently on the place of the logo. The Plasma technology ensures full color uniformity and homogeneity in the structure of the 2.9 carats put in the dial. An amazing view, surely making this years’ Plasma a conversation piece again.

Apart from the Carrera novelties TAG Heuer also brings a new 34mm Aquarace Professional 200 Solargraph, a new 45mm. Connected watch and even an eyewear collection. All can be viewed on the TAG Heuer website.
